Overview
What I’m offering in private coaching is an extension of the
Real World Growth Strategies program, tailored specifically for
your practice.
I have no interest in giving you a pep talk, or trying to get
you “pumped up.” Instead, I’ll help you look at
your practice in ways that you probably haven’t considered, and
together we’ll develop strategies that will help you determine
what the most promising areas for growth
are. From there, we’ll develop a plan and
actionable steps that you can take to improve in those
areas.
I’m going to ask you to take notes. I’ll ask you
to commit to homework. In some ways,
I’ll be a professional pain in the butt, because I’m going to
expect you to make and keep commitments to
change.
Typical Coaching Content
During our first session, we’ll take a long look at numbers
that drive your practice, and discuss what they tell us about
how you can optimize your practice. Later calls
may address a number of topics, or they may be focused on
continually improving one single area we identify as most
important.
Fair warning – I don’t believe in a strictly Socratic
approach. While I do believe that given enough
time and the right questions being asked, any practice owner
can make substantial changes to his or her practice, I also
believe that if you’re paying me for my experience and
expertise, you deserve to get it – so I’ll often interject
suggestions, recommendations, and ideas that you can put to
work immediately in your practice.
E-mail Component
I’m extremely hands on. That means that if during
a call we decide that you should be creating or editing
something, I’ll help you along in the
process. I’ll give you feedback and
suggestions between calls via e-mail
support. This could be for letters to
patients (for example, for a re-activation campaign), or
developing systems for your support staff, or simply in
refining the explanations and metaphors you use with new
patients. When we find areas that need work,
I’ll put in time outside the calls to help you optimize those
areas.
