Shawn Veltman & Associates offers a
number of services geared towards helping practice owners
to be more successful with their
businesses.
The core of
these services revolve around the concepts of automation
& systemization – Finding the areas where repetitive,
rule based work can be automated, and finding ways to
systemize “best practices” so that they’re used in every
applicable situation by every member of the
practice.
The systems
that Shawn has developed (both software and “peopleware”
solutions) allow us to:
· Quickly &
accurately generate practice health reports (looking at
areas of strength and weakness based on practice-specific
data)

Create sophisticated (yet easy to use) CRM
applications for practices – For example, patient visit history
matrix used to flag patients who are operating outside the
normal boundaries of past patient
behavior.

Break complex, multi-step marketing campaigns
down into daily action steps for front desk personnel
(EG: Patient reactivation campaigns, referral
generation campaigns, introduction to new services or products,
etc)

Follow up with past patients on a consistent
basis to ensure they’re following through with any prescribed
exercises (and educate them to the consequences of failure to
do so, as well as potential remedies)

Track any changes in the practice statistics
through time, especially those related to practice growth
initiatives
In other
words, we’ve created systems that help practice owners do
the things they recognize are necessary to grow their
practices, without taking away from their ability to focus
on their patients.Because much (or all) of the work is done
on our end, practice owners can spend more time focusing on
their patients, and less time on their business – Which
allows them to have much more successful
practices.
In addition to these practice specific
systems, Shawn has also worked closely with larger
companies to automate many tasks previously left to
front-line employees, accountants, or other supplementary
staff. Shawn’s
helped companies automate things like repetitive document
formatting, daily bank statement report preparation, bank
transaction error detection, account monitoring, and
accounting preparation (income statements, balance sheets,
etc). The rule
of thumb with automation is “If you can train an employee
to do it without saying ‘Use your best judgement’”, chances
are we can automate most or all
of it.
